Pieces of Joy Studio commenced in November 1999

The vision was to offer total Interior Design and Decoration combined with a vast array of beautiful fabrics and a comprehensive service to enable our clients to create their own Curtains, Roman and Holland blinds, Lampshades, Bedspreads and Covers, Cushions, Fabric and Wallpaper based art pieces, small Upholstered items and Padded pelmets.

The original Pieces of Joy (Geelong) Studio has a large workroom where our clients come to excercise their creativity and bring their dreams to life. 

We work with our clients to help them achieve a Designer Outcome, yet, still within their individual budget.  The clients undertake the production themselves, under the guidance and care of the staff of Pieces of Joy Studio. In so doing, they not only achieve the outcome they desire, within the general budgetary boundaries, but,even more importantly, the supreme satisfaction of self creation of a designed result that their friends and aquaintances can only dream of.

Total Home Interior Design is also part of Pieces of Joy Studio's services with especially designed custom made Curtains, Roman and Holland blinds, Pelmets, Bedcovers, Bed heads, Cushions, Lampshades, etc.

It is complemented by a Furniture design and Upholstery service which specialises in producing the furniture that you desire. Simply provide a photograph or drawing of the furniture required and Pieces of Joy Studio will produce it to your order. 

Restoration of Furniture pieces is also part of our service. Those pieces that may have emotional significance, the precious memorable pieces, or, aquisitions that have elements of design that appeal to you, can be brought back to life, given a new look, restored to their former glory or recreated for today, using beautiful fabrics from all over the world.
